The practical work of the UBC Commission on Environment (EnvCom) is done in the UBC Environment and Sustainable Development Secretariat. The Secretariat is a co-ordination and service unit for the implementation of the UBC Sustainability Action Programme 2010-2015 - Agenda for Sustainable Baltic Cities.

With staff of over 10 professionals, we offer following services for our member cities and co-operation partners:

• carry out Sustainable Development Surveys
• Best Practice Environmental Award
• Baltic Cities Environmental Bulletin
• Assistance with networking and communication
• Assistance with developing and running projects
• Trainings on transport, governance and management.
• Consultation for member cities on sustainability topics
