QUEST project (2011-2013) will develop an audit tool to evaluate and improve the quality of urban mobility policies in European cities. The main aim is to support cities in actually making progress towards a more sustainable urban transport system. In the end of QUEST audit cities will receive a certificate which recognises their efforts in sustainable mobility planning. In the future this labeling system can form the basis for investment programs from different policy levels to support local authorities.

Altogether 50 European cities will be involved in the project. QUEST has 19 partners from 13 different EU Member States and is coordinated by Ligtermoet & Partners in Netherlands. UBC Env Com is coordinator for the work package “City involvement and communication”.
